  4. If this is what they are going to do with star Trek now. You just lost a fan. I'll stick to the past ones as being authentic and consider it as being a series now officially "dead". You've ruined the legacy of star trek.
    I'll switch interest completely to other sci Fi ORIGINAL films and look to fill in the spot previously for star Trek. Raised by wolves, Alien movies and others but I'm not gonna watch what is CLEARLY ABSOLUTE SH#T and fool myself into thinking that THAT CRAP i just saw is anything STAR TREK.

    I'll go to authentic and intriguing JAPANESE sci fi or independent films of character.

    Paramount you've ruined youself.

  5. I hope it's good. I think her having her own series went out the window when she won the Academy Award.
    Looks like maybe they panicked and went with an action movie instead.
    I think the quality of Discovery and Strange New Worlds is proof that Paramount isn't shifting on the Star Trek legacy. Those shows prove in their production quality, the astounding talent they cast, and the risks and imagination of their scripts shows Paramount is very much interested in furthering the brand and can do a great job doing so.

  11. My lord. People we’re talking about made up worlds. And it does make absolute sense the Federation would have a black ops division, I love Michelle Yeoh, and anything she Is in is great. I’m going give it a shot. Let’s see if Star Trek is better than Star Wars. I stopped watching after half way into the mandolorian

  17. Bunch of idiots. There are so many alien species to fight with yet they do plot between humans on Start Trek while the Klingons, Borg, Romulans are to just make guest appearance. The 90s movies were soo good until whatever crap took over. What is wrong with Paramount is beyond me. This is how not to do DEI. None of their Star Trek is any good and is painful to watch. Star trek isn't Hallmark or Lifetime, you don't do unnecessary emotions in these type of movies, rather the focus is on thrill, plot, excitement, technology, keeping you at the edge of your seat. They will only get a message if their movie fails at the box office and no one subscribes to their services.

    That is THE problem with Hollywood (big ptoduction movies) the last decade. They don't make movies anymore that people want to see. They make movies based on stupidity by number crunching, on the color of the skin of actors, on the opinion of mainstream media, …
    Luckily, there are studios that want to make good movies without all the explosions, cgi, …
    And luckily those movies are well received.
    Just look at all the bs big budget movies this year… sigh…

We must announce this to everybody without fail on every occasion. This is exactly how you run a muti-planet covert secretive organisation.
