I can't wait! This movie gives me 90s nostalgia – unrealistic premise of unproven driver (Days of Thunder) with obvious plot lines and the obvious adversary-becomes-respected-rival narrative.. with cinematography and trailers that make you willingly want to suspend your disbelief to watch it unfold on the big screen to share the experience with a bunch of strangers looking for something similar.. it (to me) looks like a fantastic return to form for the movie industry and (hopefully) a deviation from the miriad of straight-to-streaming flicks that have kept people alone on their couches for the last several years.
