1. I'm disappointed in Schreiber. If you are going to play a military officer in uniform have the professionalism to shave.

2. Beautifully filmed. I've always loved my own time in Venice. That was over 50 years ago now, so there are poignant similarities to Hemingway's prose.

3. Anything written by Hemingway gets my complete attention. I thought I knew most of his books titles, but apparently not, as I've never heard of this title. This looks like the kind of movie that should have been made a long time ago, in black & white. Growing up, I had to read a lot of books for high school English class, back when I was in school. This wasn't one of them. I hope to get the chance to see this one soon. Thank you.

    We pay to watch actors and actresses act. I don’t give 2 shits about their political beliefs. Just stick to your craft and most of the public will respect you.

28. I have a 1st Ed. 1st Print Ernest Hemingway's, "Across the river and into the Tress" novel. An excellent read. I hope that the movie is as good as the novel.
