  1. I love JAWS: THE REVENGE. The opening titles feel brutal…the shark looks amazing in my opinion. Yeah the story is goofy…but there's definitely goofier movies out there that get much more undeserved attention. SHARKNADO?

  2. I saw the last two Jaws films in the theater. Each Jaws movie has a special place in my heart. Including this one. Every now and then, I’ll get a real urge to watch it and when I do, it really feeds so many feelings and emotions. I even posted a video recently from where I saw it. The theater doesn’t exist anymore.

  3. Jaws the revenge was a comedy not a horror bc I was laughing at the absurdity of it the entire time. "Crikey! It's the first time ever we caught a shark roarin on film! What a beaut!"

  4. Oh Lord. Saw it in '87 and only Superman 4 was a worse major movie from that year. Having re-watched it recently for the first time in decades it's still a terrible Jaws film but actually has quite a sweet mature romance storyline at its heart with Gary and Caine, which I enjoyed. Just take out all the very silly and dreadful shark stuff. 😂

  5. The decline of Jaws and Supeman franchises are similar with parts 3 and 4. Both Jaws 3 and Superman 3 were released in 1983, and were considered bad at release time. Then in 1987, part 4 for both franchises were released, and both were considered atrocious at release. That said, the difference between parts 3 and 4, for me, is that I can watch 3 once in a while, where as with 4, I never bother with.

  6. I don't know, I like all the other Jaws movies, even 3 as a guilty pleasure, but The Revenge is just bad and not even in a fun way. That said, it's been nearly 40 years and I'd much sooner Universal did another Jaws (starring Chief Brody's great grandson) rather than grind out any more Jurassic World, Fast & Furious or Minions cash grabs.

  7. The movie was awful, the plot was absolutely ridiculous, how can they expect the audience to believe a shark follows the family to the Bahamas from Amity Island,Jaws 2 was the only good sequel to the 1975 masterpiece

  8. SO WHY ARE WE SEEING A TEASER TO SOMETHING THAT WONT BE OUT FOR 2 MORE FUCKING YEARS AND WHITCH THEY MIGHT NOT EVAN GET TO FINISH ANYWAY IF THEY DONT COME UP WITH THE MONEY THEY NEED TO FINISH IT WERES THE DOC ON JAWS 2 AT LEAST THATS A SEQUEL PEOPLE LIKE JAWS THE REVENGE GETS SO MUCH HATE WHITCH IS DESERVES

  9. Jaws: The Revenge failed both at the box office and as a movie because it deserved to fail. It was rushed into production in January 1987 with no script (and no mechanical sharks) and it had to be ready for theatrical release by the summer of that same year. I don't know how you get a full documentary out of that disaster, but at least the filmmakers are getting more time to work on their documentary than the original filmmakers got to work on their film.
