classic american neo-noir sci-fi .. failed blade runner prequel?? or ongoing series? even has the rip off narcissist from 2049 following the foot steps of Jared leto's 'wallace' character. still looks worth a watch atleast.. Meh
Guy Pearce is a really good actor in the right type of movie genre.

Cheap Bladerunner that showed me its not worth my time.
Watch the two Blade Runner versions instead because this is just weird in a bad way.
My, Matilda Lutz looks like young Jessica Alba here. Other than that the story sadly seems pretty generic.
So, in a futuristic setting, a man has to go to a dangerous place to rescue some guy's daughter. Guy Pearce already made this movie back in 2012 when it was called Lockout. But he shouldn't feel bad. Kurt Russell literally did this exact same movie twice when he did Escape From New York followed by Escape From LA.
plot is so common
Already bashed for looking like other movies in the trailer. One good thing about it is Guy Pierce, a very good actor if you've seen The Proposition or L.A. Confidential or Brimstone. And there's Matilda Lutz the girl from the movie "Revenge". Isn't that interesting enough for us to give the movie a shot?

We could have a Blade Runner 2049 sequel, BUT NOOOOOOOO.
The movie makers' pitch to the studio: "It's like Bladerunner meets Cherry 2000 meets Lockout meets Escape from New York. Yeah, it's an original screenplay…"
So someone made a way less funny version of Lockout?

Looks interesting and with the inevitable blade runner comparisons I can see why some people might look away but for a sci-fi movie with the cyberpunk or AI aspects it definitely willbe something to watch.

Why hire Jared Leto and then make him unrecognisable, another Oscar bid? I thought that when you put on too much presthesis it didn't count?
