i’ve loved jonathan rhys meyers since velvet goldmine. i have a hard time believing he had to take a job with a script this bad; an apocalypse film with zero plausibility (other than the premise), cringe factor ten, and not a single advisor on set who knows the first thing about firearms. also, poor john malkovich too.

Another idiotic thing is no one leaves their rifles in deer blinds out in the weather when they are not in use.
The guy is supposed to be a former FBI Agent, who mentored the girl's brother in the FBI. From what I've seen so far it's FBI Flunky who mentored another FBI funky. It's as though neither had ever attended FBI Academy. My security force training in the Navy better prepared me for a gun fight than either of them. Oh, the guy taught maps. It doesn't matter, in the FBI, MEANS Academy.
Hole fu*k it is a bad movie! 3.5 rating at IMDB is to much. And I am in it for 38min 😀
What a crapy huge disappointment.Can't believe Malkovitch wasted his talent in this piece of junk.The very least that would be needed to make this movie tolerable at all would be to lose the Hip Hop /news broadcast narrator.This movie is a pile of garbage.

They really should have titled this movie "The Stupidest". OMG what a dumb movie. The "Survivalist" in this movie is an f'ing moron and does everything a person could do to get themselves killed, but because the writers need him to live, he doesn't die in the dumbest possible ways.
Man. Meyers had a chance w Travolta and Malkovich and failed miserably. So many times in this movie I saw way better options and it failed. Let me run towards the armored truck full of bad guys while I'm out in the open. It will probably work out. Right? I don't have a knife when I need one, but I've sure got one when I don't…. Bombed

Watching this movie was like watching a wet fart, I’ve never witnessed such unimpressive bafoonery in all my life. The writer of this stupid story should throw himself into a wood chipper.

Just got done watching this…I'm drawing a blank…I can't call it a movie. I'm embarrassed for all of the people associated with this turd. From start to finish…the worst…I don't have words to express just how awful this was. It's…I'm literally still cringing from having seen it. Someone needs to invent a device to help me unsee this.
