When I first saw the preview I had no idea that the actor playing mark Kerr was Dwayne Johnson😅😅

Just watch the smashing machine documentary. They just recreated what’s already real and filmed. This is terrible. Go watch the real thing. All these scenes are in it. But real and not acted.
The fact this is a Benny Safdie film, and that Dwayne looks so very similar to the real Mark Kerr… gives me hope of potentially, some well- earned acting rewards. (The Safdie Brothers got a great Adam Sandler performance for the lead in Uncut Gems.)

Wow. I mean I saw the Rock a few weeks ago on WWE, and that's not the Rock. It's weird, uncanny valley CGI Rock. Which would put me off watching this, which is a shame because it seems like a good story. And Emily Blunt is awesome

It's impossible for this to be better than seeing the documentary The Smashing Machine, but I will admit to being surprised by this trailer. I wanted to hate it, but it actually looks like it has potential.
