Wat a disrespect for a great cartoon
this looks incredibly stupid.
People keep wondering why horror is always the go to now when it comes to Public Domain Characters, to that it's easy to explain.
1.) Horror movies are usually and generally cheap to make so combine that with a public domain character you don't have to pay money to use with no fear of lawsuits and you're looking at a production that only has to worry about reshoots or injuries and can usually make its money back easily and quickly especially if it's independently made and marketed.
2.) Turning something nice or innocent into something sinister and evil has been a concept that's existed for a long time. The human mind is one generally based on self-preservation and as a result we're always thinking about the unseen evils lurking around every corner and hiding in the darkness even if we're not consciously doing it. Its why unexpected sounds will catch your attention first and foremost before anything else.

Geesh, they gobbled up all the low-hanging fruit like "I yam what I yam" and did it so artlessly. It could have been a great cinematic moment. I was at least hoping for Weird Al to come out with something with more valuable content first.
