what i love about this reunion is Lyra saying "I love you." she's essentially telling herself that she loves her, and i think it has so many different meanings. she loves her soul, and knows she could never leave him behind. she loves herself, not in a conceited way, just finally her coming into her own and loving herself just like that. and so much more, but that's just off the top of my head. this series is so well layered and nuanced i wish it got more love
Haven't seen this adaptation but doesn't Pan literally verbally assault her in the books at this point. I remember reading it and it literally feeling like he was gonna attack her.
Obviously since he is literally embodying how Lyra feels about herself for what she did.
Did they like change the human/daemon relationship or something? Dialogue feels really off. In the books, any time the humans are talking to their daemon it literally reads like they are talking to themselves. Maybe I'm misremembering. Its been a very long time since I read them. Which tbf, all the books are written from Lyra's point of view but it definitely still feels weird.
man I need to reread these books. I could have sworn will and lyra’s dæmons take their final form when they touch each other’s dæmons? or was that just will’s?
Charlie gewd ahh yes bloody tea magic have a cup of cheese with some talking animal with human eshopagus. Those critters can talk to you with elisabeths grace
Lyra in black?

They are pretty adorable together

Please Pulman! Give Pan and Lyra a happy ending in the next book!
I didn't even know what a pine Marten was before it was perfect for pan!

It would’ve been poetic if Pan settled on being a Wolverine to honor her real dad James “Logan” Howlett. Just sayin.
YALL THATS KIT CONNOR RIGHT THERE OMLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
She’s love her soul 😂😂😂
Like she held her soul in her hand like literally her soul 😂
This part in the books made me weep the most. He never fully forgives her for abandoning him.
