1. Mentally degranged female cop somehow, miraculously manages to end up the "heroine". Fantasy/comedy not to be missed. Excellent acting by all, including the dog. Great shots of Manhattan's Park Avenue.

24. Typical Hollywood lowlife script. Has to drop the F bomb in less than a minute by an uncouth female no less. This is why I prefer British movies of integrity even in action/thrillers.

26. How did that stupid lady cop became a policeman? The situation would not have escalated to the extreme if she only knew how to effectively extract infos from a psychotic criminal. Instead he played her really good and got her to reveal her vulnerabilities to a looney

31. this has happened in a 1970 kidnapping for ransom case A college freshman daughter of a rich real estate investor in florida. Demanded 1/2 million dollars and sent a pboto of the girl being buried in a homemade box in an undisclosed location. THE FBI was called in to help. the ransom was paid after a false start or two. hundreds of agents were assigned in several probable locations awaiting the reply from the kidnapper. Within minutes 2 agents arrived and the given instructions were found to be too vague to exactly identify where she was buried. The poor fbi agents frantically combed the area for almost an hour until one heard a voice calling out. THE girl was dug up after 4 days in the tomb. the s.o.b was captured after a manhunt located him in a new cabin cruiser he bought with cash.
