3. For the record: Using the Eternals and their narratives as the next significant steps for the MCU is a mistake of the highest order. The comics were not very successful at the time of their release, nor any time after. The characters are uninteresting and difficult for fans to relate to and who bear virtually no connection to the beloved characters that we have come to know and love from the previous films. The Eternals were created by Jack Kirby in a deliberate vacuum separating them from the greater Marvel universe. The potential for boredom and pretense are extremely high with this character group. You have been warned…
