  5. Why Does Desire Pregnants Unity,
    If unity was a vortex then she can destroy everything when Dream was in Cage, too simple for Desire.
    Also, Vortex is Dangerous during the dreaming and Unity was dreaming…so she could have destroyed everything.
    But when he pregnant Unity, Rose becomes Vortex and till that Dream gets time and he have a attempt to stop her….

    I didn't get the part when Desire passes the Vortex

  8. Gays are messing up the show just like there messing up the world. Girl playing vortex is a bad actor and annoying. Vortex meeting dream was a bad reaction cuz shes acting like she sees it all the time and shes better then everyone else vibe or just bad acting.

  11. I'm not seeing the surrealness of the comic in this trailer. I see dark and gloomy. I was expecting it to be visually like American Gods. More vibrant colours and mind altering visuals that requires one to be high to appreciate it fully. Honestly, I expected American Gods to be more like this than the mind trip it became. I don't feel the dreamscape like I did with the comics. I read the comics cold sobre and still got the immersive experience as if I was high. Also, I wonder who they're getting to do Lucifer. I hope they keep the blond David Bowie look. After reading the Lucifer comics, I cannot stand the TV series. Lucifer and The Sandman are 2 comics with anti-heroes who doesn't give a fuck about humans. The humans are often pawns of more powerful beings or just along for the ride, often at their own detriment.

    Edit: On a 2nd watch, I think my problem is the actor isn't otherworldly enough. His eyes should be all black. he should be super tall and lanky in a completely inhuman way. Everyone who meets him can tell he's not human. His helmet needs to be larger and look more Cthuluish. I'm just not feeling this trailer.

  17. They need the guys from Lucifer and Constantine to play their characters in this even with no tie in just because of the awesome factor. Also Masie Williams should be Death.

  18. I'm so hyped! Tom Sturridge is exactly how I imagined Morpheus to sound. I have really high hopes for this series especially since Gaiman himself is involved. He made sure to cast people who've read the series too. I would honestly watch a Johanna Constantine series with Jenna playing her. Apparently we're going to get to see her as her 20th century self too. I remember people getting super pissed thinking they genderbent Constantine. No, it's Johanna. The fact that they're pretty similar makes this work. The people complaining do realize this is based in the present right? If they actually read the comics they'd know that the Endless don't have a race, because they change their appearance according to who's viewing them. It's really not that deep, just don't watch it if you're that butthurt.

  23. I'm just going to put it out there the best way I can and hope at least one person is intelligent enough to understand what I mean.

    A male who identifies as a female , dressed and made up to look feminine, does not constitute as androgynous.
    The only people who bash someone for being upset ( in this manner ) would be a person who hasn't read the source material!
    I don't care if desire is a moose that dresses like a kangaroo and identifies as a butterfly .
    Desire is described as being neither male nor female ( androgynous) merely being whatever gazes apon it's faces greatest desire .
    Personally, I don't care who plays desire , drag queen, post of female/ male , it don't matter.
    The past few videos I saw had desire as a he dressed like a she ( don't care how he identifies, that's what I Perceived.

    If I made a movie about ru Paul and had a female actress play him , how mad would people be ???
    I know ones fiction and ones non but to me it's the same thing .

    Some opinions are not based out of hate !
    Some are made from common freaking sense , common sense dictates that desires neither male nor female .
    I'd rather have seen the woman who plays the ancient one in Dr strange dressed in a suit and tie .
    I think that would have been a much better casting….

    Oh , I'm mad about death too .
    But I'm saving that anger for after the show comes out and I can post the TATTOO!!!!!!! That I have of her on my leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I'm soooooo mad at Neil for selling out , then telling die hard fans they can screw and that they are racist for thinking he should have demanded continuity!!!!!!

    ( He) was not a massively recognized character ( although has a huge part to play ) deaths look is an icon that the ( woke) culture should have stayed away from .
    I'm almost not willing to watch it , and I truly hope it crashes and burns because of how Neil is treating his die hards .
    Once you give something away to a culture, it's no longer your's in my opinion!
    Death was not his to change !

    And just to set the record straight , I am Blackfoot north American , if they had changed death to a Blackfoot , I'd be just as mad , so let's leave the eagerness to label someone a racist out of this one , yeah ?

  31. I have listen to audible originals The Sandman I hope this will measure up to it,I see they have made lots of changes to it with Lucifer being a female I hope it works out.

  34. The first six comics were uneven. By #6, it figured out what it was. #7-12 made me cry, because any thought I had to be a graphic novelist vanished. I could never be that good.

  40. This look good but it sucks that they change the gender and ethnicity of Lucien and also for me as a longtime fan change Death… this is stupid and cheap to deprive us of one of the most Iconic Goth girl of all time

  41. I've been reading The Sandman since it first came out, have first printings of the first few dozen comics, and this preview does not excite me. I think the main problem is that the experience of Sandman is so graphic-novelly (yes, not a word) in ways that film just can't capture. From non-naturalistic drawing/inking to non-linear narrative (scanning multiple scenes/POVs across a single spread), I just don't think this will translate. That said, I loved the Audible version, but I was able to "direct" it in my mind's eye.
