It's not a reboot, it's a sequel
I think with Twister being so good, the directors, cast, effects, everyone knows that Twisters has to at least be equal to Twister. I am excited to see this movie coming out in July. Whether it's a sequal or not, it looks good. Besides, all the great actors and actresses like Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt had to start out as newbies too at one point in their careers. I'm stoked to see Twisters! You'll see me in the back of the theatre trying not to jump out of my chair every time you turn around.
It's not a reboot nor a sequel. Has it's own stand alone storyline. Shouldn't be riding on Twister coat tails.

As a person who religiously loved twister, I know this one won’t be as good as the original but it’s tornadoes bro. I love tornadoes. Only excitement we get in Kansas any way so I’m definitely going to watch it.

Why place it in New York? Why not keep it in tornado alley? so many different locations that factually get hit by tornadoes on a reoccurring basis, while filming could possibly catch a real one. Why does everything have to be in New York?

Going to be a flop. There is not a sequel story line to this. Not to mention it’s been beat to death.
I’m kind of surprised they haven’t made a movie about the El Reno tornado. That thing was a bizarre freak of nature.
The first movie was all about working with what you have with building things from old junk and fixing up old cars to run like new I liked that part. It would be cool if we got a lot of car scenes with racing and not just getting thrown around. I would have liked to see a direct sequal to the first and then a few more movies before someone decides on a soft reboot it also would have been cool to see some of the old cast returning and passing along their science engineering to the next gen and getting involved with the plot cause like the first movie they live for these moments and it would have been cool to see their new alert system in action and being recnoized for it.
With Bill Paxton and Phil Seymour gone, could they at least try to get Helen in here as a cameo? Even if it would be just fan service, I think it would be cool to see her revise her role.

This is not a reboot or remake. It's a sequel based on Bill Paxton's original idea before he passed away. The filming is almost already completed. Now we wait until July 19th, 2024. You people who say it will be bad need to have an open mind. The original was legendary. Directors already know that can't screw up the new one with thousands of storm chasers already watching them from the start. They already have been told by the big some chasers to go big, or go home including Reed Timmer himself. They've already gone to great lengths based on some of filming I've already witnessed myself. They've been filming in the town of El Rino itself. The place that record breaking tornado from 2013 hit outside town. They aren't playing like the movie "Into the storm." This one is gonna be real deal, real serious. You people who have doubts just wait. You will see.
Great actors are in this movie if you look at their history. One of them is in the new Top Gun movie.

More cgi is gonna bring the movie quality down. They have one good actor. They didn’t wanna hear Helen Hunts advice. They also went with director I don’t particularly care for. I think I’ll not go to the movies to see this because I really think it’s gonna flop and flop hard. I like Glen Powell as an actor but I think he’s making a mistake acting in this movie with no support. I hope it does well but cgi is crap. Look at into the storm is was crap. The only twister movie that was good was Twister itself. Kinda have a Tom Cruise take on this movie if you can’t make it better than the first then why bother making it all.
