  6. Watched this movie high af last night and I can't stop thinking about it. So much to unpack. The desire for female connection. The way she tries to protect the white girl but also survive. She plays the pimp, she becomes the pimp. She survives. People don't understand the grit that comes with hoeism. When I was a young lass, I was messed up in the head enough to be around hoeism, but I was just too damn modest to every dip into it. Believe me, people tried to recruit. I love these women, the trauma bonds are real AF. I ended up an RN and let me tell you how fucking degrading this profession is. I've got golden handcuffs on, and if they give me a nasty ass old man that gets off on calling 911 so he can have his pee pee touched by a nurse, I can't refuse. I gotta clean up his nasty wounds, piss shit and vomit also. My mother was an RN for 44 years and she died penniless in a nursing home after a 7 year battle with dementia. This country does not give a FUCK about its caregivers. At least the folks in the nursing home loved her and took really good care of her.

  22. A crazy movie but hard lessons are learned. Taylour and Riley are an interesting duo of love-hate associations; very crazy but loveable, sympathetically speaking. What else to say? Dare love it! B+ from me.

  32. I just saw this and i LOVE IT i danced for a short period and never been through anything memorable or crazy like that but ive heard some sad stories from the ladies i met there, zola was lucky. Anybody else went through something crazy like this?
