  1. "it has the same tone, the same vibe"
No, it really doesn't pal. Not in the fking slightest. Did anyone who worked on this heap of trash actually play the game from start to finish? Or just read the synopsis on wiki.

  2. Looks like a decent horror/thriller.
But it has nothing to do with Until Dawn.
So, you’re basically trying to sell extra tickets by scamming and tricking people…
    Got it.
For that alone, even though it looks decent, I won’t see it.
Won’t back that kind of mentality.

  3. It's so sad to see that more and more companies just take names from great media and put it on their own instead of creating something new. Just to make a few more bucks. This practice sucks so hard.

  4. I don't know why it has to be explained to Hollywood that using the name of the game for a movie that has absolutely nothing to do with the game is a horrible idea. At least name it something original and market it is "Until Dawn inspired". I think the naming issue is clearly creating a negative kind of hype for the movie.

  5. Why name it the same as the game if its not a direct game to movie? It's completely different from the game, it's literally just Groundhog day but horror.. Should've at least called it something else as it has nothing to do with the game other than needing to survive until dawn for some reason.

  6. Interesting idea. The fun aspect of the game is its re-playability, if they just made a strict retelling of the movie, it would remove the multiple choices as it’s no longer a game, and would be a very dull, straightforward film. At least this is trying to do something innovative with the restrictions placed on it by being a movie, so I hope it works out for them

  7. From what I have gathered, this is not actually a live action "Until Dawn." If anything, it's a film inspired by Supermassive Games and their style of gameplay. Or… it's an attempt at a more serious "Happy Deathday."
