  1. Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn.

It's a shame this movie didn't do well. The director is a really talented guy, not just in this film but in others he's directed.

  2. I wonder if they shot footage showing life in the facility before the "incident" happens. I would have liked to have seen that, even if just bonus footage on DVD.

  3. I hated this movie. Literally couldnt see a thing, and the one guy who kept saying the dumbest thing imaginable in life or death situations would have made me homocidal. Terrible dialogue and writing.

  4. Watching this in the cinema with my husband not knowing it was going to be Cthulu and then being SO fucking excited the more it dawned on us that it might be was the best experience! I really wish more horror films did this then reveal everything in the trailer.

  5. It's the last movie I watched in theatre before the whole world was locked down because of the first wave of covid-19. It's really an awesome movie but failed in terms of revenue. What a pity.

  6. Just going to say from that thumbnail, that's NOT Cthulhu… Also the part where the water starts to come in like that and they're running authority of improving that's actually impossible for a person to do because they would have been crushed immediately

  7. Coulda done without the dozen cuts between footsteps. Whatever happened to longer panning shots? More cuts than paper when left alone with a 3 year old and a pair of scissors

  8. Best part about the movie imo are some of the theories. Like the one of the company hiring them to dive down to the base actually being Cthulhu worshippers knowing full well what they are doing

  9. >Makes eye contact with Cthulu
    >Doesn't immediately try to claw her own eyes out or gouge out her ears to stop the voices

  10. Went into this movie totally blind. So it did scare me. For one the thalassophobia is enough. Two, not knowing what the creatures were. And they kept getting bigger until OMG! Finally, not really knowing what it was until youtube videos like this a reading about it. Cthulhu was a big and nice surprise!
