Tom chose his costumes for the film when it was summer and was absolutely freezing when it came to filming in winter. Paul Newman had chosen a warm coat and filmed their outside scene in a car that had an electric heater in it. Tom also talks about choosing to eat chocolate cake in one scene, but regretted it when he had to keep eating it for multiple takes.

Joining Graham tonight: Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise, reprising one of his greatest roles in Top Gun: Maverick; his Top Gun co-stars, Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly and Whiplash star Miles Teller; Oscar-nominated Brit Felicity Jones, talking about her romantic drama The Last Letter from Your Lover; Wunmi Mosaku, Bafta-nominated for her role in horror thriller His House; and top comic John Bishop, promoting his tour Right Here, Right Now. 1. Loved Tom Cruise since Taps & Risky Business he's become better and better just wish Hollywood would bring down CGI usage a few notches. But Tom is known for doing his own stunts witch I think is beyond amazing. I'd love to meet him and talk for just 3 minutes uninterrupted.

  2. I don’t get how Martin Scorsese didn’t cast him for any other of his films. He was in serious consideration of being in Goodfellas.

  3. Wasn't this the same guy that threw a hissy fit like an undisciplined teenager just two years ago? What a great presence he is on set.

  4. QUE ACTORASO ERES TOM CRUISEEE TE ADMIRO PROFESIONALMENTE 💯 SOY SUPER FAN DE TIII ESPEROO QUE ALGUN DIA PUEDA CONOCERTE ,. SALUDOSS DESDE MEXICOO Y MUCHOS EXITOS SIGAN EN TU CARRERA

  5. Yo Yo when is Tom going to continue the lineage of The Hustler and The Color Of Money and make another movie about pool hustling where Tom’s character Vincent Lauria becomes the mentor to an up and coming pool shark??? Jackie Gleason to Paul Newman to Tom Cruise to the next talent 👍👍👍
Granted a pool movie in this day and age may be cheesy sounding because it’s lacking action with special effects but if it’s done right the 80’s OG’s will come out to see it and it will give some nostalgia of a happier simpler time!!!

  6. I like the fact that he turns to everyone and involves them in the show, but please, stop with drama of how harsh the conditions are for poor Tom as he makes millions and millions and has so much fun on set. If you want to hear about people working in harsh conditions check out oil rig workers in the North Atlantic, or even worse, child labour in the far east where kids work 24/7 for a bowl of rice. Please people, wake up!

  7. I might not agree with his personal beliefs but Tom is as BIG a movie star as they come……………He is excellent as what he does……

  8. I love the pass down from the greats imparting little bits of wisdom but also enjoying the little bits of suffering from their protégés. So cute and beautiful.
