  1. About 6 years ago I spent one night only, on Osea Island, on the River Blackwater, in Essex, England….☠️
    It was a very weird experience.
    Many movies and films have been filmed on the island, and it also has a recording studio.
    It is a private island owned by the hairdresser John Freida's brother, and is accessed only by a long causeway, built by the Romans, which is underwater for most of the tide, only revealing itself twice daily at lowest tide.
    At one time, it was a "detox" retreat for the rich and famous.
    Once you are on the island, and the tide comes in, you're stuck there until the next low tide.
    My ex girlfriend had booked a 3-night stay on the island as a birthday treat, because the islands of Essex have always fascinated me, and I've made it a bit of a "mission" to try and get on as many of them as I can.
    But…it was REALLY expensive.
    As much as a week's stay in a nice hotel in Spain or Greece.
    But anyhoo…
    The drive over the causeway was a little unsettling.
    It seemed to go on forever, and to be stuck out there in a sea of mud, knowing that the tide can come over you at any minute is a bit un-nerving.
    When we finally got there, the whole organization of the place seemed very half-arsed and scruffy.
    I got the impression that it was just a sort of rich boys "playground" for wealthy scruffbags from West London called "Will"…and…"Hugo".
    You know the types.
    Theres quite a few buildings on the island, and the first one they offered us was a dump.
    So we moaned, and they moved us into a larger, detached, house, all by ourselves.
    But it was still dirty and very scruffy.
    We spent the day walking around the edge of the island, but didn't really sleep that well that night.
    Something felt very "off" about the place.
    My ex was a bit of a witchypoo type, and she said that she got a very un-nerving feeling about the island.
    Like something terrible had happened on there in the past, and might still be going on?
    It really had that "Wicca Man" feeling about the place.
    Also…you feel very isolated out there, with no way off.
    So the next day…we left.
    Quickly. 👻
    Weirdly also, on our walk around the edge of the island we sighted what was something like a BIG CAT.
    Black ..as big as a large dog, and running through the undergrowth on the wild extreme western side of the island.

Love a good quirky British thriller.. unfortunately there's only a few decent ones.. on ep2 ; its farmilair with usual tropes , but i like June law, good actor, under appreciated, but i absolutely LOVE the way this is shot. ! Awesome cinematography..but how long is this series..? Three episodes?

  6. I unfortunately watched this in quarantine in Wales. I inherently love British shows.
    I have danced to this song many times. (been there & seen that)
    Unfortunately it's so predictable, The islanders/townsfolk, who throw off every proverbial "red flag" & the Islands commandments w/ their fairytale religion(isn't every religion based off a fairytale?)only one way in & out, don't go in the woods, no cell reception, don't look in the basement, always use a buddy system..blah blah blah. I immediately saw "LOST" w/o the brilliant mind of Lindelof mixed w/ a bad Steven King movie. It plays out in three acts & if I didn't have anything else better to do than feed my chipmunks, I wud have never made it to the END GAME.
    I watched The Young Pope/New Pope also on HBO after a recommendation & LOVED IT! This is a bad Netflix series @ most! I have never finished a Netflix series.

    When a bunch of people who all live together on one Island, act like they are hiding smtn, THEY ARE!

  16. Third day trailer I honestly think It will be very interesting and incredible and amazing show ever. Huh mm I really love it very much. I am going to enjoyed every moment of it. I actually think this is going to be very excited show ever. It is the greatest show I ever seen in my life. I will be the very best show ever I think it is the greatest character in this video honestly they did a terrific job making this film and inset and offset and I really love this show is really awesome and very amazing.
