Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Sent to protect Sarah is Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), who divulges the coming of Skynet, an artificial intelligence system that will spark a nuclear holocaust. Sarah is targeted because Skynet knows that her unborn son will lead the fight against them. With the virtually unstoppable Terminator in hot pursuit, she and Kyle attempt to escape.

Funny- with gingers boyfriend- was able to lift up the terminator- 800+ lbs. Strong man plus ginger night snack of sandwich & milk was on the floor.

Don't make me bust you up man! Hits him in the head with a lamp and doesn't phase him and Matt gets thrown around. The T-800 just being brutal and terrifying. His theme song always gives me the chills. That theme represents how dangerous he is when he's close by.

i'm still amazed at how arnold schwarzenegger was considered so indispensable for the terminator, that the cast and crew were happy to let him finish up filming conan the destroyer rather than recast him.
and to think that oj simpson was nearly cast as the terminator….
The terminator ruined their dinner on those sandwiches.

Robert Patrick really learned to keep his eyes open during shooting. I think, Arnold tried as well, but couldn't manage in the end.

I've watched the original The Terminator so many times on VHS and I can honestly say, the 4K looks and sounds outstanding. I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before while watching this clip on my MacBook Air.
