Experience the story of THE HUNGER GAMES — 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered as tribute, and decades before Coriolanus Snow became the tyrannical President of Panem.

THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS & SNAKES follows a young Coriolanus (Tom Blyth) who is the last hope for his failing lineage, the once-proud Snow family that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol. With his livelihood threatened, Snow is reluctantly assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a tribute from the impoverished District 12. But after Lucy Gray’s charm captivates the audience of Panem, Snow sees an opportunity to shift their fates. With everything he has worked for hanging in the balance, Snow unites with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in their favor. Battling his instincts for both good and evil, Snow sets out on a race against time to survive and reveal if he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.

  1. WOW! I’ve heard there was a prequel coming, but I haven’t seen the trailer, or knew any details, until now. This movie sounds like an interesting story, and it looks great! I hope it’s on Disney+ Also, Peter Dinklage!

  2. Very good film. Really helped us to better understand the motives of Snow and added depth to his character. My only criticism is that there's far too much singing and there's some weird freemasonry stuff going on if you look at the symbols in the opening scene or at 0:04.

  3. this movie is SO BAD. not only is the story repetitive and reductive…but the special effects, the acting, the writing all of it is so poorly done.EW. I couldn't even bother to finish the film, had to walk out of the theater cause it was that boring.

  4. I love how Highbottom was trying to stop the Games (which he created) by making the capitol children get close to the kids they’re going to have to see die

  5. The real easter egg for me was the mention of katniss (the plant) in the book. I wonder what Snow thought of the first time he heard Katniss' name. Must have brought back a flash of Lucy Gray, among the many more prominent ties, like the mockingjay and song, that eventually became her trademark.
