29. Now see, THIS is a trailer. Gave me JUST enough to interest me without showing the entire film. That was actually a perfect trailer because I can't even tell how this will end and now I'm curious to see it thru to the end. Looking forward to this one

30. If only writers understood reality. This plot requires a R rating to be good. Top level assasins would not give af about the other side, if they are literally guarding hell thats their focus 100% of the time. Jesus why are movies so bad now.

33. The premise of this movie is stupefyingly dumb. Imagine the pitch meeting for this.

    Pitch- "So this portal to an otherworldly hellish dimension opens up, right? So to combat this very real threat, we'll just build two watchtowers on opposite sides from each other, kinda like gatekeepers."

    Studio- "Going with the cheaper route, I like it. Will save a lot of money."

    Pitch- "And they'll only ever be manned by one person in complete isolation for a year at a time."

    Studio- "Wha- ok I guess we have to have a psychological element…"

    Pitch- "And the watchtowers aren't allowed to communicate with each other."

    Studio- "The only line of defense is two towers manned by people suffering isolation and they're not even allowed to communicate if the worst were to happen? Shaky world building, but maybe it could work as long as the two towers are out of line of site from each other or something…"

    Pitch- "Yeah but the towers are directly across from each other and manned by Miles Teller and Anya Taylor Joy. Their characters totally want to bang!"

    Studio- "……….. Did you say Miles Teller and Anya Taylor Joy??? No further questions! GREENLIT!"

34. The concept just seems weird. There's apprently literal doors to hell just wide open in some woods and they put only two young guards to keep it in check? Makes no sense.

40. I think them not making contact keeps the gates of hell closed. But giving innto lust might be what open the gates. That would explain why only 2 people guard it and why one male and one female

    Showing the creature's hand is too much, shows its a literal gate of hell, killed some theories, especially the scene where Anya got into the Gorge to save Miles… too much

    They shows half/probably even the entire movie on this trailer
