9. This scene mirrors the very first time McCall uses his skills against the Russian mobsters. In that movie, the boss could've saved himself by actually taking money from McCall. In this one, this is a huge operation. McCall doesn't know it and it wouldn't have mattered to him anyway. He was just here for the guy's pension money. In the first movie, the boss died over $9800. In this one, it was for $366,400. Chump change compared to the millions he already had. But in the end, it's not about the money. It's about the power and how they're willing to die rather than give that up.

I love how the bad guys just ignore the warning signs of danger after seeing all the dead bodies in each room they walk into. 🤔If I were the 1st henchman, I hid somewhere before the boss get back and let McCall do his thing and then steal💲which is more than enough to retire from being a henchman.
