  1. This movie does not need a sequel. It is iconic and does not need to be messed with. Look at 'Silence of the Lambs' – one of the best movies ever made. The two sequels are mediocre at best. At least Jonathan Demme and Jodie Foster had enough sense to decline participating in the sequels. If Streep has agreed to do this, she has lost her marbles and also a large chunk of my revere for her as an actress.

  2. I'm favoured only God knows how much I praise Him🎉👏, $230k every 4weeks! | now have a big mansion and can now afford anything and also support God's work and the church.

  3. Does anyone finds it interesting that they announce the movie around the same time Anna Wintour confirms her exit from Vogue plus the plot of the movie, for the moment, partly consists that Miranda is having issues with the magazine… Hmmmm🤓

  4. Loved this film and long hoped for a follow-up, but gave up hoping a few years ago….. Blunt said she was all for it, Streep was all for it provided someone had a good story-line (perfectly understandable), but Hathaway was the n*gger in the woodpile (so to speak). She said it was "of its time" and "wouldn't really fit in with this day and age". The fact that she seems to have now relented suggests her career has not been too successful in recent years! Just my take on events, anyway.

  5. Ehhhhh, I'm going to be that person.

DWP was great, and it ended at the perfect place. Andrea realized what she became, went about on her way and moved to a job she loved, and was even able to rekindle her relationship. Miranda though surprised was genuinely happy for her and even gave a glowing recommendation in her own way to get Andrea that job. Even Emily ended having mad respect for her…and the movie ended closing everything perfectly.

So aside from a cash grab off a popular movie and cast…why a sequel? If it's anything less than what the og title was, it'll be garbage. If they try to make Miranda less of what she was in the og title because she has to be more humanized (moreso than her mild breakdown in the og movie) and adapt in this new world, it'll be bad regardless of how much a powerhouse actress Streep is. If the focus is on Andrea again, is it going to repeat the great hits of the 1st movie? Is Emily going to be the new "Miranda" in her job role and try to out-Miranda Streep?

I'll just say I'm incredibly cautious about this being good…because it's a sequel that doesn't need to exist, and it could to very bad very easily.
