9. All star cast and spectacle don’t always translate into something memorable! I didn’t expect more. But the only reason I watched was Gareth Edward in the directors chair.

13. I watched the movie today. I'm truly disappointed. Gareth Edwards made one of the most astonished movie of my childhood : Godzilla (2014). I was expecting more than what I saw tonight. The Creator is a copy and paste of Chappie (robots) / Avatar (vehicles) / Rogue One (Spacecraft). The beginning is interesting and well done but after the first “event”…I lost it. It's repetitive, illogical and lacks music at times. I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't specify. The Creator is a hype for money made by a strong marketing. What a waste of incredible potential. I still liked the look of the AI spaceship. Oh and also… the IMAX screen is only 20 minutes of the movie. Lol.

    Anyway, I'm going to see this on Tuesday regardless. Guess I'm glad it seems to please enough people to insure it won't be an artistic catastrophe. The only thing I can say about money, is it's gonna get some of mine.
