  6. Isn't it funny. Everything spies do is of no other value but to justify the legalized coercion and theft committed by your gov't against YOU.
    In case of a war, it is always the most economic way of dealing with it by waiting until the enemy crosses the borders.
    Thus, there's nothing to be gained by getting information about your enemy before he attacks.
    For everything in society you trust competition to produce the right products at the right prices, but not when it comes to laws, justice, and security.
    How is it to be a contradictory crackpot?

  12. Truly amazing movie showing the beauty of Russia through its spectacular ballet and the resilience of its people in adversity. I remember well growing up in Ireland in the 60s and receiving a booklet through the postbox on how to protect (as if you could) from nuclear fallout. I was 8 at the time, but I remember there was something about hiding under the kitchen table! Thank goodness for brave individuals who say ‘this is wrong’ and even put their lives on the line to keep all of us safe. Is it really 60 years ago? Why do I have a feeling of deja vu?!

  13. No script, I mean NO SCRIPT!!! When I watch a film I expect a script to keep me interested not a few words then long silences. This is a thoroughly amateur attempt in every way and I'm annoyed I wasted my money on it.

  16. Wish YouTube would bring this on free. The true story of Penkovsky and Wynne is even more engrossing. Wynne was messed up after his time in prison; it is thought the Penkovsky was shot. However, he may have been fed live into a furnace . Amazing story.

  23. This was spectacular. A film whose quality appeals to those who aren't impressed with Hollywood schmaltz. It highlights true heroes, that saved the world. Men whose character we see little of in this day and age.

  29. Amazing movie, actors and direction along with a really good ending. It was extremely impactful and contains a solid message about human will and perseverance. I would strongly recommend watching this one. What makes it even better is the fact that this is based upon real events and I feel really inspired learning about these people who sacrificed so much behind the scenes for peace and humanity. My sincerest respect to all those who allow us to live in peace knowingly or unknowingly through sheer effort, sacrifice and will. I say this from the bottom of my heart, Thank you.

  31. Just watched and loved it, this is a must-see. Very heartbreaking, specially if u have family (kids and husband or wife). This is one of those moves that shows u how real man and woman are/behave/do.

  34. A compelling must-see film. Once again, Benedict knocks it out of the park, with a
    talented supporting cast. Of course Wynne and Penkovsky never truly meet again after their capture, but it was a nice touch at the end. Shows the power of human relationships.
