Shadow is now the second fictional character I know that got hit and was sent to the moon. The first one was the Cape Baldy.
A shame there will never EVER be another attempt at a redeeming dragon ball/ dragon ball z movie 😢😢😢. I never understood because the matrix 3 had that awesome Ariel battle between neo and Smith and that was exactly how the fighting should have been in a dragon ball movie but because what we got instead was so horrible, we won't be seeing it happen in our lifetimes 😭😭.
Throughout the film we have seen that Shadow being consistently above Sonic whenever they share a scene. It wasn’t until after Sonic defeated Shadow that they stood side by side as equals. That’s straight from Sonic Adventure 2.

Sonic may have ended the fight with that punch, but it took him being in his super form to punch Shadow out his super form. Shadow was able to punch Sonic out of his super form while in his normal form. Shadow had the upper hand in this fight even with Sonic's punch.
