This was one of their worst missions and costed lots of lives. I didnt like this being treated as if its just a cool cassual adventure. People need to read the books to understand the huge mistakes and lives it took to be barely effective. Not romantisize colossal failure.
Honestly one of the best series I’ve seen in decades. The only reason I discovered it late was because the title gives the impression it’s rubbish and has Ross kemp in it.

BBC, you've really outdone yourselves with this production. The setting, the outfits, the casting, the plot are all superb. This series deserves to be in the pantheon of A tier war series like Band of Brothers and Generation Kill.

American here. i had finally gotten around and watched The Mummy [2017][took me so long becuz i had heard it was shit but i actually rather enjoyed it quite a bit]. i was also quite taken with Sofia. i did a quick IMDB search and wanted to see more of her, which led me to Rogue Heroes. In the last 3 or 4 months ive watched and re-watched the entire series about 4 or 5 times. Saddened "Reek" [Alfie Allen] was killed off but absolutely love the entire cast. waiting with bated breath for season 2!
