I enjoyed it! It might owe something to the 1961 film 'The Day the Earth Caught Fire' in which an atomic bomb test alters the tilt of the earth (and also sends it spinning towards the sun) and the solution is to drop another atomic bomb in a counterbalancing place on the earth. Unlike this film, the earlier one leaves the end open …
