Just saw the movie. I had seen clips of the real Nicholas and was intrigued so kept watch as to when the movie was coming out. It was released in selected theatres, so hard to find, but find I did. The movie was inspiring as it honored this amazing man in a very simple way. The storytelling, which is real to my great chagrin, was superb. What a MUST see movie.

At the same time, I remembered the children of Gaza in Palestine dying of hunger. O world, save the children of Gaza from the aggressive Israeli bombing. This is a terrorist act.

Not to dimish what this amazing man did, but I hope one day we can also see the story of the Swedish diplomat and what he managed to achieve in Hungary or the Japanese Vice-Consul of Lithuania.

Some critics call it predictable, the public seem to love it. Think I'll go and see it. Went to see it today. It's a well made moving story of a man with great empathy and humanity who struggles with feelings he could have done more to save more children left behind to die. You would have to have a heart of stone not to shed a few tears during this movie. Both Nicholas's gave strong performances.

Recall writing a letter to Yad Vashem back around the year 2000 in support of having Nicholas Winton’s amazing feat of rescuing 669 children, recognised by Yad Vashem which, praise God, has long since happened
If ever a person deserved to live until 106 years old it would be Sir Nicholas. Can't wait to see this .

But that don’t give them the right to do it to other people and use the trauma they went trough as an excuse.
