  15. can someone explain something? why is this show depicted in modern times? Now, i think i get the idea of the racism thing, i just dont understand why modern time "apartheid" when we black people are the colonizers. yes, i'm aware that apartheid was not that long ago. And its more of a genuine question than a critique

  17. I only discovered this show a couple of weeks ago so I got to binge the while thing from start to finish.

    I wonder what it was like for white people watching this. I wonder if any wondered how they'd cope if this was their reality instead of black peoples. I mean, the terrorism angle was a bit of an overstretch in terms of response, but maybe the show made a few bigots reexamine their views? Maybe a few non-racists realised they misjudged the scale of the issues? Who knows.

    Did most Europeans not have written language or the wheel before being colonised by Africans?

  37. I am really looking forward to this, Along with inside no 9, this is the most underrated show on British TV. Finally I have something to watch every Tuesday and Wednesday night for a while. The trailer looks amazing, but annoyed it ruined the speculation about whether Jude survives or not within 10 seconds. I hate when trailers do that.
