  1. Well, my honest review, I watched first episode and I am done, like this is unable to keep me engaged,..
I like kdramas and watched many good kdramas too but if a content can't keep you engaged from first episode then whole series becomes boring…
So I am done with this already, however by the comments I can see it is actually a good series but maybe it's just not for me 😅

  2. How could her mother call her ugly? She was pretty as child and teenager, as grownup she just could use some makeup, she has a uniq face but not ugly. What's this St.ip korean obsession to look all the same? As a European woman I don't understand how you could like bts they look like girls, women must be all lesbians there. Actually I find them ugly, they don't look like men

  3. This series was so good! I loved it! Each episodes only get better and better, really recommended and it's really different from what you expect from typical K-drama, not that I don't like them, but I really loved this. I'm probably gonna watch this after a year or two, after I've forgotten some parts of it.

  4. (SPOIRLER) Frankly, the series was not at all what I expected. That old lady killing the main character was the most ridiculous idea in the world. What does the child care about? We don't even know who the child's father is. And the death of the main character's best friend was ridiculous. In my opinion, everyone died in the series. The main character is happy with his best friend. It could have been a long day and the series was really perverted, so please, those under the age of 13 should not watch it. From one perspective, the series is a revenge series, and from another perspective, it seems like a good series, but in my opinion, the badass 6 and 5 episodes were good, so would I recommend it or not? Honestly, maybe the masked girl? She could have been a murderer and killed everyone, and that would be a scary movie. Many people were saying that the girl was a famous artist, so I watched it, but it was not at all what I expected. It was very perverted and many people liked it. Is this good? Anyway, if anyone likes bloody things, they can watch it.

  5. Best K drama I’ve seen so far, and there are a lot of good ones. So many different emotions and twists and turns.

Story goes deeper than advertised. If you’re on the fence about watching, do yourselves a favor and watch.

  6. I finally got around to watching this with all the new shows that came out. I should have not waited, was a greatly written show. Great Twists and turns. Definitely out of the normal realm of the korean drama. A must watch that turns into a binge watch. ❤❤❤

  7. It was well made, good humour, actors and crazy plot. Aside from the classic unbelievable ending and impossible prison scenes it was well written

  8. The first episode was really good. I thought finally something that wasn’t about murder revenge. The second episode it became disappointing, it turned out to be another murder revenge drama. The third episode was obnoxious, starring an actor who was trying too hard. Luckily, it got better toward the end.

  9. I think the dramatic effects and details of this drama is impeccable. However, leading up to the end, some parts seem to be not making much sense if not only for the climatic effect of the big finale. However, it’s still a good drama worth watching. I was left speechless after the first series depicting mi-mo and binge-watched the rest after a short break.

The reason I said the details were excellent is because they depict human emotions and expressions very well, the kind of stuff you mostly see in outstanding East Asian movies, it’s the kind of a glare speaks a thousand words thing going on there. A lot of thought had been put into writing the scripts I am sure.

It is also excellent in depicting how cruel the Korean society can be for average-looking people. We all are a bit of visual animals but if you know Korea well and have objective views about Korea, its society can be very cruel to people who don’t fit into the good-looking bracket. How you look dictates whether or not you are getting hired or whether your superior will favor you more than your colleagues and sometimes talent and hard work might not even matter. Parents are happy to pay for teenage kid’s surgeries and people always talk about who’s pretty and sometimes pick on those who are viewed as society’s outcasts based on their looks. I don’t think we can solely blame one actor like the parents or the bullies to be at fault because it’s a shared problem within the society, in order to survive you need to be ‘presentable’ by that you basically need to become easy on the eyes for those who are around you. society of Korea puts good looking people on a pedestal and often gives them way more privileges than what you will see in other developed parts of the world, it’s truly baffling.

I myself grew up in East Asia and experienced receiving Freebies from a Korean store (no I am not Korean) and back then I was a teenager, it was a confidence boost no doubt but when you are older looking back you know it would make little to no sense to receive extra stuff simply because you are viewed as visually pleasing. I appreciate it was a kind gesture but I would the gesture to be given to someone who’s in need of it rather than me.

Korea itself is so contradictory as a country it’s truly fascinating, the technological developments and their national GDPs both signifies the achievements of the country and you will think by extension, people should live a happy fulfilling life there. And we all know life is not always straightforward esp in Korea, there’s gender inequality, pretty privileges, hierarchical societal structure and other suppressive components that lead to low birth rates and high suicide rates. I am glad I was not born in Korea, you have so much burden on your shoulders as a normal person, being hardworking is not enough, you need to be pretty as well. Even if by any chance you won the generic lottery, if you are born a girl, you are kinda screwed as men are the ones wearing the pants, it’s still a predominantly patriarchal society. Don’t forget that you always need to look super duper slim to the point only drinking water and eating grapes to maintain your figure, anyone over 50kg would be considered fat 😂. I will be damned seriously, as a person stand at 5 7” and weigh about 50kg, I am considered fat?! I mean cmon even in where I came from I have always been seen as very slim and it just doesn’t make any logical sense. Yeah and colorism within their own kind and discrimination against foreigners esp those of darker complexions haven’t even joined the chat yet. I digressed. It’s truly a worth watching drama that highlights some of the most detrimental issues in Korea and should be watched with a heavy heart. I hope in the future people in Korea don’t need to shoulder so much burden anymore

  10. I watched this . Not good . I thought it was a nice thriller drama . But it’s not good as the trailer. Only 1st episode is okay others so boring
