Storyline:
The new Apes movie is set many years after the conclusion of 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes. Many apes societies have grown from when the Moses-like Caesar brought his people to an oasis, while humans have been reduced to a feral-like existence. Some ape groups have never heard of Caesar, while others have contorted his teaching to build burgeoning empires. In this setting, one ape leader begins to enslave other groups to find human technology, while another ape, who watched his clan be taken, embarks on a journey to find freedom. A young human woman becomes key to the latter’s quest, although she has plans of her own.

I mean what made it work was Andy Serkis's performance and the story is complete. It doesn't have to riff on the world-building of the 1960s ones or say something about their rule. That just opens it up to being not as great. Looks like the original writers are attached–but without Matt Reeves, you probably lose a cohesive vision. Remember, apes together strong.

Best movie trilogy right now
The first three were absolute hits. Hope this doesn't ruin the trilogy.
The ending to the final Maze Runner film was awful and unsatisfying. Let's hope the director doesn't do the same to the 4th Planet Of The Apes reboot film series.

This is the 8th movie of the franchise and I can't wait to watch it I seen all the other ones at my favorite one will have to be the one with Mark Wahlberg that's one of my favorite planet movies
The planet of the Apes trilogy with Andy serkis is one of my favorite trilogies of all time. The new movie will only work if it has something to tell us that is a focused continuation and has something to say like the other films before it. I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'll bet any money a spaceship crashes at the end.
