There are several titles with the same name. So many Kindreds. This one looks good as does the one based on the book by Octavia Butler

I'm half way through episode 3, and the acting is so bad I just can't go on. In the right hands this could have been a much better adaptation.

She didn't put pressure on the would, I hated her for it. She can't be a good mother if she is smoking and drinking while pregnant.

I watched this movie so you don't have to. Overall, this wasn't a terrible movie, but I most definitely wouldn't rate it even 7 stars. Maybe 5.2, specifically. The acting was great, and the plot was great, but it had similarities to multiple other movies. The ending was also kind of disappointing because it felt almost as if it were rushed and very thrown together. This is a great movie for someone looking for some time to kill, and just to experience it, if the trailer piqued your interest. With all of this said, the acting was the best part about it, and the slight changes to the already done before, plot.

I watched this actually brought up a lot of emotion. I think the family probably killed him for marrying outside of them. I was a bit disappointed that the Beautiful Black bird the Black horse were supposed to portray darkness and evil. Nothings changed there I see… Oooops
