Later Willie Chan convinced Jackie to give a chance to Lo Wei with New Fist of Fury. This and all the 8 movies Chan made for Lo bombed at b.o., but helped him in landing to Snake in the Eagle's shadow… and the rest his history!

New Fist of Fury is a 1976 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Lo Wei and starring Jackie Chan.[1] It is the first of several films that Lo directed Chan in, and the first using Chan's stage name Sing Lung (Chinese: 成龍, literally meaning "becoming a dragon", by which Chan is still known today in Asia).

    The film gave Chan his first starring role in a widely released film (his first starring role was in the Little Tiger of Canton, which only had a limited release in 1973). The film was a sequel to Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury, one of Lo Wei's biggest successes. Chan had previously appeared in the original Fist of Fury as a stuntman. New Fist of Fury was part of Lo's attempt to market Jackie Chan as the new Bruce Lee, and did not contain any of the comedy elements that were to be Chan's career trademark later on.

17. she is the same girl same age when she acted with bruce lee as his girl in Fist of Fury, jacky chan must have been very young then, as he also acted as a stunman ion bruce lee films… not jackie style you could see he was uncofortable with it… but can see his fighting style slipping out here are there… still good to see the film… was suprised by the older fighter as he played the bad guy, in when bruce lee worked in the ice factory… this old guy was the boss with his son, who bullied all the workers and anyone as he was the bosses son… and bruce faught him and his father at the end… bring back so many good memories learning both styles of bruce lee and jacky chan… was only a teen growing up and watching all their films… and many others… Kung Fu is not for just Fighting… it's a way of life… and bring out the good moral compass within yourself… and is only their for defence… as a last resort… it's easy to fight… but much harder to control oneself… in that given moment… when one ready to errupt like a volcano… .
