  18. Better than hysterectomy. I hope this mutilation of women ends one day. ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology) describes hysterectomy as a treatment of last resort. Before having a hysterectomy, you should find out the reason for it, treatment options, and long term side effects. Side effects of hysterectomy can include depression and loss of sexual response or desire. Most physicians do not think twice about the sexual side effects associated with hysterectomy. Desire, arousal, orgasm and pain disorders may all be seen post-hysterectomy. Despite this, of the 1200 women seen to date at the Center for Sexual Medicine, very few have presented after hysterectomy. Kilkku et al looked at post-hysterectomy patients, and found that among the women who kept their cervix there was no loss in function, but when the cervix was removed, patients complained of sexual dysfunction. Rhodes et al found that post-hysterectomy patients actually had better sexual function. Even if the woman maintains her ovaries, sometimes the blood supply to the uterus is cut off. Internal orgasms are often changed significantly after hysterectomy. This is observed in part due to the inability to have rhythmic contractions of uterine muscles without the uterus present. Also internal orgasms are changed after hysterectomy due to injury to the nerves which pass near the cervix. Surgeons should try to spare these nerves, but efforts to spare them are limited at the present. The result is that after hysterectomy, many women lose the ability to have an internal orgasm. Reports suggest that if the uterine cervical ganglia were spared during cervix-sparing hysterectomy, sexual function would be preserved.

  21. THANK YOU for SHOWING & EXPLAINING the truth about what REALLY happens in a woman’s body while suffering numerous and massive fibroids. I have viewed so many videos that only provide ‘lip service’ in telling us what a fibroid is but none as comprehensive as Hildah’s story of which so many of us can relate.
    The PAIN is REAL and debilitating. I have felt so alone because no one understands or can relate to this level of pain until I watched Hildah’s story of exactly what happens and the amazing Dr. Quinn (R.I.P🙏🏾) and his staff who helped her. ❤

  26. I just had mine removed here in Dubai after suffering for 10 years and my GP gaslighted me into taking birth control to 'stop' bleeding without even offering scan or testing.

    It has been an emotional, physically and mentally rollercoaster, and was so relieved to finally been heard here and got help. Health insurance here is absolutely worth every penny. The NHS is failing so many women (especially black women) due to constant funds cuts and it's sad all those years of paying taxes and yet one still has to suffer like we are in a third world country 😢.

    Here they wanted me to opt for hysterectomy because of my age (nearly 50) but I refused based on my research of the side effects of it (every woman is different but i didn't feel comfortable having my uterus removed). Do your research in terms of the side effects and listen to your body before going for hysterectomy if you haven't reached menopause yet.

  35. What's the name of the type of procedure he performed on her to remove her fibroids? I have fibroids in my uterus as well and would like to discuss getting this type of surgery with my gynecologist.

  37. I have only 4 fibroids that I’m finally due to get surgery for after suffering for many 4 years. I only found out I had it 2 years ago. I have never heard of someone have this many fibroids that is scary. I can’t imagine the amount of blood and pain she felt, just seeing how big her uterus became.

  48. It was challenging and unbearable because of how critical my health situation was. but I am grateful and happy to have ordered Dr Aluda herbal supplements on YouTube which I used and it shrunk my multiple fibroids completely ☘️☘️☘️
