  1. Where are all these places that Latinos are completely nonexistent? Wow, Hollywood is not even trying to hide it anymore. It's an active annihilation campaign/fantasy it must want to come true.

  2. This movie could've gone way better if it stuck to romantic comedy. The plot without him being a liar was good enough for a mediocre romantic comedy, but then it thickens when we know he's a fake. I hate that you couldn't reconcile your feminism with the fact that a guy lied and make a great romantic film, instead of another feminist, feel-good-about-yourself mellow film Netflix has gotten us so used to… Come on people! Art is there to open minds, not to follow paradigms! We had Shakespeare, Garcia Lorca, Jane Austen. Write a better script! I'll get drunk today and write a better script, whether Netflix makes it into a film or not, just because the world deserves better.

  3. I loved this movie and think that she is just fantastic! I was engaged to a girl when I was in my 20s who a guy who met a dude that claimed to be rich and a working actor. Less than three months later, she was trying to make up with me because he was selling his childhood toys on eBay from his basement room in his parents house. She actually left me for him because he convinced her that I was too violent because I played many different sports and was in a jujutsu class as well as a boxing class to stay in shape! I told her to go to hell and she got what she deserved! I am far from violent and she knew that, I just didn’t like working out so I did activities instead of lifting weights or strenuous exercise. They both still fight with each other on social media so I am told, but I have not seen for myself because I stay away from social media. Unbelievable!

  4. Yeah. So. In real live. This prostitue. Only dated the guy because she thought he had a lot of money. Then she found out she was duped. What a victim. Also. She cheated on him while thinking his mother was dying of cancer. A lie too but she deserved it lol.

  5. I am shocked at the comments. I loved this movie. But it’s probably because I went through the same thing. Now you feminist don’t come for me but this was one of the best chick flicks I’ve seen in a long time

  6. I googled romantic date movies, and this piece of crap popped up.
My wife and I agreed this was in-your-face 4th wave feminism. Just shiite all over men.
Anyone who thinks this is a romantic comedy is an idiot.

  7. My daughter's dad lied almost exclusively
He died of an overdose about 2 months to the day after she turned 2 and 3 weeks after my father died
I had been on the run because of his death threats which disrupted my whole life for 4 years This shit ain't fake The main character's story hurts to watch but it's so common and real
