2. this was so sad. i feel like everyone involved could have done more to prevent this. they all want to blame one person the most in the video, but it was the system, it was the law, the workplace, the school, the parents, the boyfriend, the friend, everyone. it just takes one person to speak up. you don't have to wait for someone to ask for help, especially when they are only a child.

4. We lived in Forest Park during the years of 85-89. To think she was close during those years and living out her nightmare is scary to think.

5. I just watched the documentary, and it made me really sad. They never found Michael, the poor child. It would be comforting if he were found and buried with his mom. Kudos to all the investigators and everyone who worked so hard to uncover who she truly was.

7. Me parece una historia real tan horrenda, su padre pudo ayudar a su hija , pidiendo la tenencia legal, las más chicas no eran sus hijas, y al parecer están bien.
   Qué tristeza qué teniendo padres , abuelos y familia, queda en manos de un extraño pervertido , y cuanto sufrimiento, qué él abuso para ella resulta normal. Sí no estás segura, no contraigan matrimonio, lo importante es qué los niños estén seguros en sus casas, y nunca voy a entender qué en Estados Unidos, la palabra padres les queda grande, en mí país, hay pensión de alimentos, visitas hasta con abuelos, y lo qué aquí sé llama, red de protección. Cómo qué se llevan a los hijos y los ofrecen cómo en una rifa.
   La historia de está preciosa chica y de tantas otras víctimas, debería endurecer las leyes, todos los acosadores y pervertidos dicen lo mismo, fui víctima y ahora me están calumniando, ojo 👁 mujeres, no cualquier hombre sirve. Por muy solas qué se sientan, lo primero es proteger a sus hijos.

   수잔,샤론,,토냐,,, 샤론일때가 그나마 세가지 이름으로 살던 순간들 중엔 가장 행복했었을까?
   태어나서 단 한번도 어른다운 어른을 못만나본채 친엄마라 부르기조차 역겨운 엄마한테 버림받고(마약만 사랑했지, 수잔을 찾으려는 노력도 안했고 남은 자식들도 버렸지 ) 그 엄마라는 여자때문에 소아성애자에게 납치되어 끔찍하게도 “아빠” 라고 불러야하며 그렇게 불려지는 싸이코패스 괴물에게 5살일때부터 이름도,표정도 다 잃은채 성적으로 또 정서적으로 학대 받으며 최악의 상황에서 성장해야 했던 아이가 어떻게 조금도 성격이 그리 모난 구석이라곤 손톱만큼도 없이.
   너무 햇살같이 맑고 바르고 착하게만 자랐을까. 세상은 수잔 본인이 태어났을때부터 단 한번도 자기의 편의 되어준적 없이 비참히 죽는 그 짥은 20년의 인생 마지막 순간조차도 희망이라곤 안 비쳤는데….
   어떻게 본인은 세상 아름다운 성품을 타고나서 늘 대가 없이 약한 사람들의 편에 서고 사람들을 사랑해주고 응원해주고 웃게 해주던 그런 인격체로 살수 있었던걸까 그게 너무 말이 안되게 수잔의 인생이 더 가여워서 눈물없는 내가 많이 울었다….. 좀 못되게라도 자랐음 덜 슬펐을건데.

   어릴땐 자기 소아성애와 성욕풀이 도구로, 좀 자랐을땐 자기 밥벌이 돈벌어오는 도구로 자기가 유린해오던 몸을 팔게 하고, 스트리퍼로 쓰이고 하고……. 끝끝내 자기가 죽여놓곤 이제 수잔을 대신할 상대로 수잔이 직접 키울수 있었던 유일한 아기. 수잔이 눈감는 마지막 순간까지 생각했을 그 소중했던 마이클을 또 자기 아들도 아니면서 똑같이 비슷한 나이에 납치해 수잔처럼 순하게 안따라주니 죽이냐….
   난 사후세계를 안믿고 죽으면 모든게 없고 끝이라는 주의였는데. 저 악질 소아성애자 싸이코패스 연쇄살인범놈을 보면 편하게 죽어서는 형벌이란거도 없다는게 너무 끔찍하다. 그래서 꼭 반드시 죽어서라도 댓가란건 치를거라 믿으려고 함..
   그렇게 생각안함 수잔,샤론,토냐가 너무 가엾고 마이클이 너무 눈에 밟혀서 내가 홧병 걸릴것 같아 진짜로. 제발 지옥에서 불타고 있어주라…

15. It breaks my heart to know that this little boy is still out there somewhere and couldn't be buried with his mother. This fact is difficult to bear and I hope that at some point he can be found and given back to her.
    Since I became the mother of a small son myself, documentaries like this have become difficult to endure. I've rarely experienced a production making me so emotional and making me cry because of it.

20. I am a grown ass man , but watching this, i cried like a baby. This beautiful, intelligent girl was dealt such a cruel hand in life, that all this seemed like fiction. She was an angel, but was given a literal Demon to be her caretaker. This narcissist psycho followed her everywhere, preventing her from realizing her dreams along with her precious son . When she finally put her foot down and decided to get away , i believe he murdered her and left her to die on the road side like an animal…What !?? 😢😢 . This demon also kidnapped and murdered her young son Michael in cold blood. Pray , anyone out there who notices child abuse happening, please speak out and nip it at the bud .

I just finished watching this and im disgusted and saddened by the horrific life she had, Such a beautiful and smart girl, I can't believe he killed Michael the fact her daughter called her son Michael is so moving, Im so pleased they made a new headstone so people can visit her know now who she really was

26. I just finished watching it, im gonna tell u this, parenting isnt for everyone and there's 2 adults in parenting, 1 of them need to GET IT RIGHT. Not always happen both of them but 1 of them need to get it right, that killers parent also wrong, dont drag children into miserable life, please have comppasion towards children.

38. I’ve watched hundreds and thousands of crime documentaries but this one has to be the most difficult one to process!! I don’t think any crime documentary has affected me the way this one did!! I was in tears by the end and I’m deeply saddened by Sharon’s story, it’s devastating!! She was kind, one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen, smart and everything and she didn’t deserve any of this!! May her soul rest in peace!!🤍✨

39. It bothers me that her birth parents didn't give two figs about her. Didn't try to find her. Then Genealogy found them, act accordingly.

40. Why is the father not taking any responsibility? He is not a victim. He knew the kids were not in the system after all, why didn’t he take his daughter from Suzanne’s mom? Why didn’t he look for Suzanne when she went missing? Where were Suzanna’s grandparents? She was their granddaughter weren’t they worried?

43. This was an unbelievably twisted story. Men can be so disgustingly calculated and very precise with every motivation they've intended before handling these kinds of crimes. Just when you think everything was so wholesome and picture-perfect from the start—you might wanna rethink. After all, nothing is what it seems on the surface. People are just so cruel and manipulative that even you have trouble believing it.

44. I encourage everyone to watch this Netflix documentary. Just finished it, and it's better than other docs that I've seen. Chilling that they never found Michael's body. I can only hope that he and Sharon are together in the afterlife…

47. I don't get why the mother never tried to find her 3 kids after she been told by the police that she needed to solve by herself. If she really loves her kids, she would try her best to find them. It's such a heartbreaking story
