  1. Gotta say, I have lost all respect for F1 racing and especially the so called 'world champion' Lewis Hamilton after watching this Netflix series… on what planet do you call yourself a 'champion' when your team mate is in front of you and winning the race, and then your team boss tells your team mate to slow down and let you pass to the front so you can 'win' the championship? (Seriously folks, I don't know what is more disgusting, the fact that the Mercedes team boss would tell his driver to give up the lead in the race for his team mate to move in front and let Lewis Hamilton win the championship, or the fact that an F1 driver would ever allow his teammate to give up the winning position and let you pass, so you could win the championship… and it happened more than once with Lewis Hamilton pretending he was the fastest, after being allowed to move to the front by a team mate that was about to win the race!!)

  2. Just started. IDK may be wrong but seems daddy buys a team so son can race. Then son going on and on about how much he hurts, how painful healing broken toe is. Either low pain tolerance or making a big deal so seems as he is such a tough guy and if doesn’t race well can blame it on the pain.

  3. What an absolutely embarrassing season. Red Bull and Max put on an absolute clinic. Historic winning. And Netflix just avoids it completely. Doesn’t ask any of the drivers or principals about it and barely even talks about it. Trash.

  4. How can a FORMULA 1 pit crew forget tires while they’re changing tires?

This cannot be possible. I can’t imagine there’s enough NETFLIX sensationalism to be worth such a bribe. It must be the Morocco $$$. Would that be sponsors or someone else pulling those shenanigans?

  5. They all have become Netflix'd – talking without saying anything, like they're politicians. (I like my drivers who go the quickest,. I think we need to look at things and do better., blah blah blah) . This season was a complete bore and with the exit of Gunther, the best person on the show, it's the last one I'll be watching.

  6. Horrible edicion!! ya esta decayendo su calidad de narrativa, ignorando pilotos y momentos clave, el verdadero drama de la pista no esta, en vez de eso, solo reacciones de telenovela. TERRIBLE

  7. Cool to see every last season recapped by Netflix. But the standard I find quite low. One-liners like: “In F1 if you’re not going forwards, you’re going backwards.” No shit Sherlock…also the editing work sucks at some points, where sounds and images are combined from a total different moment. And this commenter guy Buxton, please find someone else :’)

  8. I wish I was a fan of F1, just so I would binge watch this in it's entirety. It looks like really good production and also really interesting. Some people told me that, after watching a season or two, I will be a fan of F1. Some said 1 season, others said all of it. Apparently it's THAT good at representing.
What F1 is and what it's all about. I'm still torn tho. 60 episodes is a whole commitment.

  9. Just finished the whole season, terrible. The one thing that was nice (funny)is Alex Albons vision how DTS would handle the return of Ric and way you would profiled de Vries, he was so right and some Gunther clips. The rest is mostly gossip tabloid way of making a serie.

  10. How much money did Alpine and AlphaTauri pay for this shitty documentary? It was completely boring this season of Netflix. You have missed all the magic that Fernando Alonso gave this season (insane overtakes, social media, etc.) and also another drivers.

  11. Netflix launches the sixth season of "Drive to Survive" with unfavorable reviews

Netflix has recently unveiled the sixth season of its acclaimed series "Drive to Survive," offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Formula 1. However, this latest installment has been met with harsh criticism from fans of the sport and the general audience.

As a Formula 1 enthusiast, I consider this season of "Drive to Survive" to be one of the most disappointing I have seen. The streaming platform seems to have offered merely a superficial record of the season, without delving into the journalistic work behind this sporting event.

Throughout the ten episodes of the season, some prominent figures from the top tier were featured, but the series fails to capture the true emotion and complexity surrounding this sport. Of particular concern is the lack of relevance given to the work done by Mexican driver Sergio Pérez, known as "Checo," who is barely mentioned in the series despite his achievements and contributions throughout the season.

Additionally, important issues such as Helmut Marko's derogatory comments about Pérez and the apparent lack of Latin representation in the series have sparked controversy among viewers. It is also surprising how Formula 1 seems to have forgotten the relevance of the Latin community in the sport, despite their significant contribution to the economy and fan base in countries like the United States.

The series has been criticized for its commercial focus and lack of depth in covering important events, leading to unfavorable comparisons with content available on other platforms like YouTube. We urge Netflix and the producers of the series to take these criticisms into account and work to improve the quality and authenticity of future installments of "Drive to Survive."
