Pretty sure this is loosely based on the disappearance of Ethan Patz. Such a sad story. 😢
Could have been so much better. Way too many different plot elements, it’s Netflix so the expected woke DEI. Add in huge plot holes and explanation gaps which means by the end you just feel really glad it’s over. Great performance by B.Cumberbatch.
I watched it recently and I’m in love with it. Benedict Cumberbatch did a great job and the ending makes me cry
unnecessary wokeness.
This except the puppet is a jinn😂
This was so good!! Generational trauma.. worth the watch! 🙌
WOW!!! ✅️🏆👍🏾
Now THAT'S how you make a trailer
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING WATCH THIS…. WAS SUPER BORING AND I DIDNT MAKE IT 30MINS
The homos part esp btwn a young guy and old sick man made me to stop watching this show. Can we get anything clean to watch anymore?
I watched it because of Benedict – I get where they were going with this but I can't say it was great. It didn't do enough to keep my interest. This was just another interpretation of what happens when parents don't get along, when one parent is very damaged and under drugs and alcohol and acting like this because of rich negligent parents. Same old same old. I had trouble empathizing with the main character. The young child acting was good but again not outstanding. I'd give it a 5.
Ben was so brilliant in this series, love him
Watched for Benedict , stayed for Mckinley Belcher III – loved him in this
It's too intense and scary for me to watch
I was crying non stop at the last episode. I am a guy in my 30s. It felt good to cry. I almost forget how it felt. Thank you for this
This is a parody, right?
I haven't seen a single person comment on what Eric actually represented. He represented the creative drive passed from father to son and their internal bond. The bond was distorted by addiction and alienation and self-hate, but it also was attempting to heal and reconnect. When the father beats Eric and he disappears it symbolized the root and rock bottom of his addiction being reached. Eric comes alive again in the ending scene as the son stands inside the costume, as the fictional character looks on.
Irish and Germans had ample places to live and or relocate to. Blacks did not. Why even include that fownky privilege into the movie‽ Couldn’t help yourselves again huh‽
My name 😀
Watched it…it was OK. Can’t really remember how it ended, but do remember how frustrating it was to watch him destroy his life for a GD bottle! If your kid disappears and you lose your wife AND and your job, the answer is certainly NOT at the bottom of a f’n bottle. Oh, and I really don’t need anyone telling me that people deal with stress “differently”, thanks. I have alcoholism in my family…I understand what alcohol does to a family.
BRILLIANT ACTORS.
ON A KNIFE EDGE. 😱
SUPERB SERIES.
Mateo Trail
In the world of netflix, minimum 1 character HAVE to be gay, even in the 80s…….
Omg kids are missing here in our town 😢
First the ebola then this 😭
This trailer made me feel something but the show was a nightmare to watch. Every character was the worst person you’ve ever seen. I’ll never get that time back.
