  1. I saw this particular film on Anzac day last year 2024. I could see where the storyline was heading and the significance of the soldiers diaries during that period. But unfortunately the direction of the directors and producers towards these crop of actors were piss poor. The dialogue definitely needed to be stronger in certain scenes, nothing like the films Gallipoli, the light horseman etc.etc.etc. There was a lot of miss direction and poor camera footage.
    I give this film a four out of ten.

  11. I'm Australian and I had to turn it off after 20 minutes, god we make some stale movies. The accents drove me insane, no attempts at a period accent and nobody could enunciate or speak half clearly. I didn't understand a word.

  12. This was very emotional. As an aussie we need more recognition amd more fioms showing how tough and hard we are as Australians. Tough take no crap and fight for our friends

I wish they will add a movie about the battle of Kapyong we’re Australians and Canadian forces hold their ground on the mountains to held off a estimate of 4,500 Chinese force or so possibly massive during the battle and probably they add Americans due to the documentary of the battle in Korean War.

  31. This movie's giving slight optimistic "All Quiet On The Western Front" kinda vibes. No politics, a little bit more optimism, but keeping the correct amount of bloodshed and brutality from the Great War.

  32. I was so bored by this trailer, I pressed stop halfway through. Reviews say that what was true for the trailer, is true for the entire film. BOMB.

  33. This movie has been in the mind of the director/producer Jordon Prince-Wright for a number of years and it took two years of groundwork to prepare the trenches. The film production was on private farmland donated for the purpose.
    Over $1 million dollars of explosives and pyrotechnics went into the effects of reality.
    Nothing was plastic it was real, the uniforms were real, the firearms of old .303’s were real.
    The mud and rain was real when making it.
    I know, I am in the credits, the Director is only 25years old and a friend of mine.
    It has been a dream of his to promote this film. It was a coincidence for its promotion to be out at this time.
    It has nothing to do with any expectation of a future war, but to display the courage of the authors in war diaries discovered by the Film Director.

You also participated in destroying 2x Free Boer republics, destruction of tens of thousands of farms, killing by neglect tens of thousands of Boer Women, children and babies in British concentration camps. Not to mention the bloodbath of Iraq.

  41. Heard the filming of this was an absolute shiet show from people that were there, at least they made farm paddocks look like an actual battlefield
