  1. Brand new Elvis book, Elvis: The Quest for an Oscar, great cover, 536 pages. The book will convince you that Elvis deserves an Oscar for his contributions to the movie industry. The 31 movies that Elvis made always entertained everyone who watched them. Austin Butler will most definitely receive the Oscar for his dynamic performance in “Elvis”. It’s time Hollywood gave Elvis the Oscar he deserves. “Elvis”, the movie you must see, Elvis: The Quest for an Oscar, the book you must read….

  2. Again the attention to detail looks incredible but there looks to be quite an intrusion of the writers / director trying to tie in america's racial problems e.g. Willie Mae Singing Hound Dog when Elvis was well aware of the Big Mama version but it was Freddy Bell and the Bellboys who inspired him to record it.

  3. He had those three magic ingredients, a gifted singing voice, amazing good looks, and a incredible stage presence! And, the right manager at the right time in Col. Tom Parker!

  4. It's really funny how "certain people" want to forget how Elvis was playing around with underage girls when he was an adult. I guess as long as you have the "complexion for protection" all is well that ends well.

  5. If anyone is going to make an Elvis biopic I reckon Baz Luhrmann is the best person to make it.

That said: I'm 40 and at no point in my life have I ever understood Elvis' popularity. I guess you had to be alive in the 1950s to "get it".

  6. Looks and sounds fantastic. The “ Elvis “ fans are toxic asf, I looked up Elvis’s entire life in 2hrs online. A movie about him that didn’t look like this would be pointless.
