  1. I was a kid in the 80s. We were picked on by the black teachers and bullied non stop by the black kids. It was considered cool to have a black friend but they just made fun of you when you tried. I think people need to wise up.

  2. I grew up during this time in a small city in Ontario. Noyone that I knew said anything bad about anyone because of their skin colour. We all, in unison, hated complainers and bullies….

  3. Now we know how Palestinian feels in their own country. they have been suffering in hands of Jew Nazi for long time . they are being kill every day in hands of Jewish extremist. there is no different between Jew Nazi and white Supremacism

  4. "A searing portrait of America". Aren't most films these days? Encouraging today's audiences with themes of overcoming prejudice instead of wallowing in it must go against Hollywood principles. They'd rather earn brownie points for being divisive.

  5. " "next time those schmucks say something bad about those kids, you're going to say something."

Next time: "Yeah, you tell that black bastard."

Grandpa: "Oy vey, that's not what I meant."

  6. I was 11 and in 6th grade when Reagan was elected. I didn't meet my grandfather, he died before I was born. The protagonist reminds me of me when I was 11. Anthony Hopkins' character reminds me of my dad when he would speak to my son when my son was 11, and Jeremy Strong's character (his firmness masking the pressure underneath) reminds me of me as a middle-aged dad. RIP dad, you did great.

  7. Ah, more hollyweird tripe. "Ronald Reagan will win tonight." Commie bastard: "What a schmuck."

    You lost me right there.

Besmirching the best president the U.S. has ever had? Way to turn away half your target audience.

    Oh, and, eat me.

  8. Great topic. I'm sure it will not be popular with a lot of audiences in America unfortunately. But that's exactly why it needs to be seen.

  9. Got to see this. My mom was born in 1934 I'm so lucky. She never ever said bad things. But my dad was not nice. I watched how the both thought and went with my mom's loving up raising. My mom taught me never to be cruel or mean to anyone.

  10. Those that say Reagan was a schmuck, truly show the ignorance they exist in. The movie shows a nice message of unity, but yet they divide by their brainwashing of their Khazarien masters. They will be the people that won't see their own extinction from the criminals they support until it is too late. Wake up and make America and the world great again. Stay tuned folks, many good leaders of nations will be saving this world soon.

  11. It actually is easy and hard to be a mensch. I wake up believing that I am obligated as a human being to complete at least one mitzvah per day (good deed). It is funny that as a Jewish person, I am used to being looked at in a certain way – thought of as a certain "type" of person. Once I was watching a story about a black person who was hurt as a result of racists. I was really upset about it and my brother asked "why is this bothering you SO much, why do you CARE so much?" I said simply, today – it is him. Tomorrow it could be us. Not to say all I was thinking about was me and how it affected me, but more – we are all human beings and deserve to be treated with respect and love. Why would he be different? So, if I help this man today, maybe one day when it does happen to me or anyone else, maybe someone will help me. We should all care about and help each other.

  12. Can Hollywood just leave black folks alone? It doesn't care. But l guess movies about racism sells? How and why? Are jews fascinated about blacks or they think it's a joke to sell?
