In Clark Duke’s directorial debut, Kyle (Liam Hemsworth) and Swin (Clark Duke) live by the orders of an Arkansas-based drug kingpin named Frog (Vince Vaughn), whom they’ve never met. Posing as junior park rangers by day, they operate as low-level drug couriers by night under the watchful eye of Frog’s proxies (John Malkovich and Vivica A. Fox). Swin then settles into his day job by taking up a relationship with Johnna (Eden Brolin) against orders to blend in while Kyle continues to question his night job by trying to figure out who Frog really is. Their world is then upended after one too many inept decisions, and Kyle, Swin, and Johnna find themselves directly in Frog’s crosshairs, who mistakenly sees them as a threat to his empire. Based on John Brandon’s best-selling book of the same name, ARKANSAS weaves together three decades of Deep South drug trafficking to explore the cycle of violence that turns young men into criminals, and old men into legends.

  1. “The Wish Dish”
Cordon Bleu. Pour Gravy on you. It’s a quarter past dew. Ignore the past, just chew. Their annoying, throw The Shoe. Explore The Blue and go Goku.

Im extremely High Mileage,Im The Map. Im very acknowledged, let it trap. The People tend to hear me,when I Rap. Get that green near me,I go nap. I DREAM OF JEANNIE,in all caps. Im steaming greeneries from sceneries of BAPS.

No do overs. Let it stew over. Ole Lady blew over. Baby Blue Nova. Barry Bond Cola. Im everybody’s Older, holding all The Folders. I keep The Jar and The Cobra. The Leaping Star,I Am The Chauffeur.

  2. This was a great film. Criminally underrated. Very original and some genuinely engaging characters and a berserk story-line that will leave you hooked. It's almost like it could be filmed on another planet – that uncanny valley feel throughout (but in a good way). Solid 8/10. I hope the director makes more.

  3. Saline County here (central AR) You want to hear the best true crime podcast you have ever listened to? Just look for “Boys on the Tracks”. Even as a kid in the 80’s (my oldest sister was friends with one of the boys) you knew about it, but you knew that anybody that had ANY info about it didn’t talk about it. That’s why it’s still unsolved. Check it out. I’ve already said too much 😬

  4. If you haven't seen this movie…you should. I found it on a fluke. The story is really good and the director/producer really did a nice job putting everything together. Rumor is this release got cancelled due to Covid, which makes sense. Some of the actors are big names, Hemsworth, Malcovich, Vince Vaughn, Vivica, etc… feels like this one will slowly get discovered and will get it's just due

  5. This movies US film release was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. It’s a tragedy because I rate this film a 10 out of 10. I had never heard of it, someone randomly told me about it. I couldn’t find it on any streaming service so I rented it on YouTube. Great actors, great story, beautifully filmed. It’s an American masterpiece, a dark violent crime thriller with some humor. Worth renting. Great script, great cast, great cinematography.

  6. Is this an accurate representation of Arkansas? White people murdering each other for weed down there? The south is such a conundrum to me. I gaze from a far and wonder what’s going on and why there was 9 murders at Waffle House in 1 weekend, when it was slow

  7. Can someone help me? Right after the guy says "we're going to go trafficking drugs across state lines, sir," a guitar sequence starts. It's not on the soundtrack and I'm trying find it.

  8. I cant imagine anyone sayin nothing happens in Arkansas from Arkansas live in central Arkansas. Especially Little Rock. Shit is always happening. Y'all just not in the circles to be hearing about it.

  9. Holy hillbilly buckfck. Who in h*ll sang the song ' A Country Boy Can Survive ' in this movie ??? . A little city girl? A transitional he/she liberal?
When you sing a song about country boys, and surviving via the country, and do it it a little city girls voice…???
Whoever the band or singer is most likely also supports trans men competing in woman's sports. Lord this was so hilarious listening to this girly voice rendition.

  10. Just seen this on Prime.. 10 / 10 hidden gem banger… Like where was this movie.. it's so good. Liam Hemsworth owned it and obviously the man the legend Vince Vaughn.. just wow…
