  5. I would love if they made it into a series of what happens after like the tangled movie/ series. I feel like Rosaline and Dario are the type to have adventures and find themselves in situations that can be dangerous but hilarious to watch

  8. A 'modern' twist on Shakespeare, isn't Shakespeare, it's a Frankenstein project of tearing integral parts of a story off and ad-hoc attaching other things that don't fit properly.

    Sidenote, but Romeo and Juliet isn't really a love story. The relationship is the core aspect of the story, but it's more about the potentially self-destructive consequences of blind and naive love. Both characters are very young (especially Juliet) and neither quite understands what they're getting themselves involved in, and it ends horribly for both of them. They are victims of their environment and their familial rivalries which exasperate the situation, but it's their own shortsightedness and fickle nature that dooms them.

  17. The film was nice though could have been better. Kaitlyn Dever is fantastic and the comedy part is mostly great but at the same time I felt like Rosaline's relationship with Romeo and Juliet was rather sketchy and underdeveloped. She hardly has any scenes with them after the falling out and instead the runtime is dedicated to her own romantic developments with another guy which was not so interesting. Apart from that, it's a lot of fun and well worth a watch.
