At 1:23 that stare into nothingness shows he knows what’s coming…and only death is the escape from this..kudos the team for giving the world this masterpiece..love from India 🇮🇳…this is art of film making🔥🔥🔥🔥
In this trailer when German army general says “I will not surrender” and followed by Paul’s stare into nothingnes..this scene hits so hard..at that point he understood that his and other solders life has no value..they are just the victims of old people fighting over few meters of land..and death is the only escape for the soldiers..this is a masterpiece movie with deep meaning

Master piece in all aspects….
we are all the same, but the war divide us. in the end, it is the innocent young people that have to pay the price of other’s cheap pride and ego
The scene where they are eating all the croissants and jelly after starving for months. Then, not one minute later all the mice flee for their lives to get away, while they are just standing there, baffled.
It's crazy to think that over one hundred years later, men are still fighting in trench warfare in Ukraine currently.
