  1. Worst season yet. Bad writing, bad directing, and does Emilia Fox’s hairdresser secretly hate her?! I was happy to see the return of D.I. Torres, who I think deserves her own spinoff cop show.

  4. I love this show but I always find it hilarious at the ignorance of a group of people that claim to be scientists. They are so afraid of guns it’s equivalent to still thinking you can get aids from a toilet seat.

  7. I watched Silent Witness years & years ago with Amanda Burton. I just started viewing again over Christmas & now watching all the seasons in reverse order. I am now on season 15. I'm addicted!

  8. I have yet to find any place to watch season 27 in the United States. I have BritBox and PBS. They only go to Season 26. I feel so frustrated as I see it advertised and cannot for the life of me find it!!

  9. once a good series … nowadays just stupid political propaganda for the modern human slave … laughable. even more laughable to find actors who take part in transporting lies.

  10. Series 27: 1 silent witness DCI asks looking up at a loft hatch “what’s up there” ? FFS. That’s all folks it’s back to channel 4 world drama for me. 🙄

  11. The first double episode was fine but the last 2 plot lines were ridiculous. As if pathologists would go round to suspects’ houses and they let anybody walk into the Lyell Centre without checking ID. They’re trying too hard to make it exciting and action packed and that’s not why fans love it. The BBC should stop messing with the recipe. The fascination is with how they come to their conclusions.

  12. The acting in the latest episodes is awful ,like an amateur school production,wooden voices, wooden expressions. I find it hard to believe that a casting director chose these actors. It is as though the majority of characters /actors were chosen to fulfill a quota of disabilty actors in one programme. It is doing a great disservice to genuinely talented actors. The policewoman is one of the worst, how on earth did she get an equity card? Storylines passable, but very clunky. The most interesting things are emelia foxes jumpers, and the camera work.

  13. This series used to be SO good. But now there is some kid with a bizarre haircut (who doesn't seem to be all there) faffing about and getting everything wrong. Plus an Irish lunk who is as intellectual and suited to his position as a house brick. If they dumped these two the show would be a whole lot more watchable.

  24. There should have been a wee bit more romance between Nicky and Jack
    I have watched Silent witness from the beginning and was waiting for Jack a.nd Nicky to get together
    I also think the plots should be in Britain and not overseas. Bring a bit of warmth back into the show like it was before when the other two professors were in charge
    Love Nicky and Jack, but Nicky was. Much lighter and happier get her character c ter back and show some love between the two of them
