  1. People never talk about the parallels that can be drawn between Vi's friendship with Loris and Cait's rebound with Maddie during their respective crashouts. Both Loris and Maddie provided some amount of emotional support, but also fueled the two's worst impulses and provided more escapism than actual friendship/healing (Cait got sex and validation, Vi got alcohol and raucous partying). People like to talk about how great a friend Loris was to Vi, but nothing is really shown of their friendship other than them drinking and partying. I only ever got the sense that he was an enabler who liked getting drunk with her, not some sort of gentle giant who just wanted to help her.

  2. Details worth noticing for loris character 0:39 he has his arm in her shoulder like saying are "you sure you're alright after what happened and I'm here for you" 0:58 just straight up partying, 1:11 vi almost passed out on the counter trying to get one more drink but loris takes it away and vi gets mad 1:30 loris stopping vi from fighting 1:31 he is far away from vi leaving her alone almost passed out again 1:33 vi tells loris to leave her alone and he's fed up with her 1:38 vi trying to cheer but remembering that loris is gone and passing out, this kind of details is why arcane keep telling us stories aside from the main one which is incredible!!!!!

  3. Based on vi's reaction to seeing jinx again she might not have realized she was real at first because she's been hallucinating, similar to jinx. I'm glad jinx got to her when she did because vi would have drunk herself to death while thinking she deserved it, she was only able to be pulled out when jinx said that Vander needed their help. Vi made it through prison with the drive that she had to find powder, then carried on after jinx bombed the council and left her because she still had cait. Once she had no one left to protect or love, she let her self-hatred come to the surface and destroy her. Vi lives for others, never herself, and the reason she goes with jinx is because someone needs her again. Vi and jinx got to a really good place by the end because their relationship was on equal ground, both accepting the other for their flaws and being able to stand on their own but stronger together. Jinx might not have needed vi but vi needed her, jinx was the only part of her family left and there was probably a part of her that was still terrified that caitlyn would leave her again or smth similar and that she would have no one again. It would be really cool if jinx and vi get reunited in a show later on and vi asks if jinx is real, it would be a great parallel and showcase that vi has very similar trauma to jinx without needing much else explanation. Whoever comes back i need this, jinx and vi may not be dependent on each other anymore but they still need each other.
