Kate wants to make up for lost time and invites Danica to live with them. When cracks start to appear in their new happy lives, Kate wonders whether Danica really is her daughter… or an impostor who will do anything, even kill, to get the mother’s love she never had!

  6. I've watched a similar story line before but a Lifetime movie. It's always the bestfriend to be jealous of & be hurt along the way or even killed. I hope the real daughter will come in the story. So far, the movie is fine.

  9. The adults in this talk like teenagers…who has that kind of mean girl dialogue past 20? And the teenager is a better actor switching from sweet to psycho in a heartbeat

Great thriller, The Character Samantha having the supposed "Schizophrenoa diagnosis' does not really fit at all & its disappointing that the writers have fallen for a false stereotype thats not even framed in relation to symptoms of Schizophrenia… The character seems to be struggling & displaying .symptims & traits tgat relate more to BPD & Reactive attachment disorder + Dissociative issues & clearly more sociopathic tendencies..

  26. This girl pushes a few books at the library and knocks her roommate cold and then she smacks Melissa's partner and he collapses down the stairs… jeez… what is she? Hulk in disguise?

You'd think if you track your 'daughter' down after 17 years unofficially through social media, you'd get a DNA test just to make sure she is the correct person, even though name, age and everything matches, cause you never know… but then again if they did the movie would have ended at the 30 minute mark…

  36. A police officer was killed on your doorstep n u r so chill n went off to look for ur biological daughter instead of calling the cops…. this movie is super funny
