Vikings: Valhalla | Official Trailer | Netflix

Set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, VIKINGS: VALHALLA chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived — the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). As tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, these three Vikings begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory.

  1. Great entertainment! Although I don't remember anything in the history archives about the Vikings ever coming back to England after they were defeated at the battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066. Great to watch none the less.

  2. I'm sorry, but I have to express my opinion… It's not about racism but about the atmosphere and of course the story of the Vikings were never dark-skinned, it ruins the atmosphere of the movie and it's really annoying to make black people who were never black. I'm not racist, but it's too much. It insults the Scandinavians themselves. Hardly anyone likes it when the inhabitants of his culture in the movies look the opposite of his people. For example: I wouldn't like it if nomads looked like Aztecs or Scots.

  3. Silly woke shit. Every black male producer: the black dude gets all the white chicks. Every black female producer: the black woman kicks all the white men's butts. This woke shit is getting really boring.

  4. The amount of stupid fanboys in this comment section is ridiculous. Get over it. Ragnar was not a great character sorry not sorry. This series, while shorter than the first series was way better than the first

  5. The series is good to watch.

But it is not at all precise, people used to not know how to put two sentences together properly, and they seem to have women who are smart, other women became smart only 2 years ago, then women only knew how to give birth and cook, they didn't even ask about as if it won't happen again anytime soon.

People were so stupid back then that they would bang their heads against the wall just to remember if they had eaten something this morning.

  6. Remember when Bjorn and Halfdan went into north Africa in what was probably Morocco or Algeria? And like, due the connection of the silk road to the Mediterranean, and the fact that the vikings were also in the Mediterranean, there were Asian characters in Vikings and it was historically possible? Frankly, I'm all for it. Meetings between different cultures is one of the most interesting themes in Vikings.
But could they have done this in a way that was less weird? Definitely. There could have been a merchant from Egypt who ended up staying in Denmark. There could have been a couple warriors who were the kids of a Norse shield maiden who travelled down the western coast of Africa, and married a man from there. Could have had real interesting dynamics about people who feel like they belong to both worlds, and also neither. Could have been historically plausible and also interesting.
It's worth mentioning, she's not playing a real historical character. I've seen plenty of comments saying she's playing a historically real white man, and if would have been fine if they just made up a fictional character, and yeah, that's exactly what they did. I think there was a lot of confusion, since her character is Jarl Estrid Haakon, and the real person was called Jarl Haakon Sigurdson. I think a lot of people had strong knee-jerk reactions about this, without looking into it. But still, the similarity could have been avoided. I can't even really blame people for being mixed up about it. It's almost close enough to be called a reference, which begs the question, why even make it that close? It could have been better so easily. It took me no time to come up with those examples listed above. They're not even that great, but the point is, it could have been better for not much more effort.

  7. i watched this show last night it was awesome great action and awesome fighting i cant wait to watch it tonight i watched it on my phone last night it was really good i cant wait for ep 2 and ep 3 i cant wait for what happens next its a great show with good fighting

  8. Such woke garbage! This series was trash they butchered everything about it. I had to skip in the episodes because i couldnt watch it. I think the varangian narrative is cool and could have been done much better. So disappointed with this

  9. To my youtube commenters…
I have seen all of the seasons of the previous vikings with travis as Ragnar. But i would love your opinion is this season of viking worth watching? Id love some input. Thanks 😊

  10. This is what these woke lunatics do…..they cite a historical possibility (POC were in Scandinavia at the time), therefore they reimagine history that a black woman led the vikings.

It's like arguing that there may have been black people in medieval Russia or Ancient China and then casting a black Russian Czar or a Black Emperor in China. ANd if dare push back and make a mockery of it as it rightfully deserves, well then you're just an evil Racist.

The narcissism, entitlement, delusion of grandeur, and lack of accountability is truly getting tiresome.

  11. 😂It makes us laugh at how desperate women are to fabricate a history like this that shows them as angels and that they are better fighters than men. Anyway, it's Netflix, so there's nothing new about their stupidity.
