3. Is this like the movie Rover where all Guy Pearce wants to do is get his car back as your wondering whats the significance of the vehicle, you realize it was to bury his dog that he had in the trunk the whole time. But we (the viewers) dont know until the final shot

The people that hate this movie just don't get it it's just like John Wick but on a higher level when all you have in the world is taken from you and you have a chance to get it back you'll kill everyone to get it back just imagine if somebody kidnapped your child is movie came out at the right time it was incredible it was a work of art and I relish how everyone around me including my own mother and girlfriend can't stand it I tell them you guys are obviously not on a level where you can feel into a film and relate on every molecular level Bravo Mr cage I agree with you when they asked you what was your favorite film and you said this was it great job man

7. I was so disappointed when I watched the movie and it turned out he was a recovering alcoholic who had blackouts , and during one of these he butchered his pig to make a bacon sandwich.

11. This movie pulls my heart out when he says so siply to Amir " i love her" a man's pet is a man's pet. Whether its a Newt, a goldfish, a dog,… or a truffle pig. You vowed to care for that pet as if it is family

    Looks like a good movie though.

14. Too many snowflake comments here; somebody has to tell how it should have gone down. Let's not forget that Cage has mostly played baddass roles. The way he plays the character here is misleading; man of few words, stone cold face, 'I'm going to get my pig back' written all over it. I was on the edge of the seat waiting for the broken heads and explosions. What happens? He offers food, he stands up and let's a punk punch him down, he writes a list and said "I'm going to get my pig back", he cooks up a dinner party and when the villain tells him the beloved pig is dead he sulks back to the woods. What a hammed up piece of 'B' grade rubbish.

19. Pig kidnapped, man goes on pointless journey to find pig only to learn that pig is dead. Man cooks fancy meal for the killer. Man then goes home. That's it, there is no other point to the movie.

    There is no satisfaction at the end of the movie. You'll feel like you do after bad sex by the end of the story – you had sex but never orgasmed Don't bother watching.
